Android 8+. Free version with no usage limit. How it works

OmniRemote
OmniRemote — Control your Android TV with your phone. Works with TCL, Sony, Xiaomi, Hisense, Philips and more.

Everything missing from your TV remote

The physical remote barely covers the basics. Omni Remote goes further: type fast in apps, browse like on a laptop, and even send media from your phone to the TV.

Instant Wi-Fi connection

The app finds your TV automatically on the network. Pairing via 6-digit PIN, just like the official remote.

Bluetooth as an alternative

No Wi-Fi? Pair via Bluetooth (HID mode) and keep controlling the TV normally.

Touchpad like a laptop

Slide your finger on the screen to move the cursor on the TV. No more frustration with arrow keys.

Fluent keyboard

Type searches into YouTube and Netflix using your phone keyboard. Accents, emojis and voice all work.

Photo and video Cast

Show your vacation photos on the TV in seconds, with auto carousel. Supports video at any resolution.

Zero ads

Unlike most remote-control apps, Omni Remote has no ads at all. Not even in the free version.

Connect to your TV in 30 seconds

No signup, no login, no setup on the TV — just install the app and open it.

01

Download the app

Install Omni Remote from Google Play. Compatible with Android 8 or higher.

02

Connect to the same network

Open the app with your phone on the same Wi-Fi as the TV. The TV appears in the list automatically.

03

Type the PIN on the TV

A 6-digit code appears on the TV screen. Type it on the phone and you are set — pairing is saved for next time.

Frequently asked questions

Does Omni Remote work with any Android TV?+
It works with TVs and devices running Android TV or Google TV (TCL, Sony, Hisense, Philips, Xiaomi, Chromecast with Google TV, and others). For Roku TVs, compatibility is partial — we recommend testing during the 3 free days before subscribing.
Do I need to be on the same Wi-Fi network as the TV?+
For Wi-Fi control, yes. If the TV is not on the same network, the app also works via Bluetooth as an alternative (HID mode), with normal pairing.
Does the app have ads?+
No. Omni Remote is 100% ad-free, in both the free and premium versions.
How do I pair for the first time?+
Open the app, pick your TV from the list of detected devices, and type in the 6-digit PIN shown on the TV screen. Pairing is saved for future use.
Is it free?+
Try all features free for 3 days via Google Play. Then pick the plan that fits — monthly, yearly, or one-time lifetime purchase.
Does it work if I lost or broke my remote?+
Yes — that is the most common use case. Since the initial pairing uses a PIN shown on the TV screen, you do not need the physical remote to start using the app, as long as the TV can be turned on.
